32—THE GOSPEL TRUTH

 

  1. Gospel means “Good News.”

  2. Good news to all the world. Matt. 24:14

  3. Christ's redemption is good news. Rom 3:24

  4. Redeemed obeys. Rom 1:5; Acts 6:7

  5. Obeys all of God’s Commandments. Jas.2:10

  6. Not lip-service but does. Matt. 7:21-23

  7. Obedience better than sacrifice. 1 Sam. 15:22

  8. Obedience is part of the gospel. 2 Thess. 1:7, 8

  9. If we love Christ, obey. Jn. 14:15

  10.  Faith without works is dead. Jas. 2:17, 20

  11.  God’s Commandments, not tradition. Mark 7:9

  12.  Gospel truth is faith and obedience. Heb. 5:9

33—THE GOSPEL COMMISSION

  1. “Go ye teach all nations.” Matt. 28:19

  2. Christ promised to be with us. Matt. 28:20

  3. We go in Christ's power. Matt. 28:20

  4. Holy Spirit’s power with us. Acts. 1:8

  5. Joy in selling-mark saved. 1 Thess. 2:19, 20

  6. The love of Christ constrains. 2 Cor. 5:14

  7. Discover and use your God-given talent. Matt. 25:25

  8. Don’t hide your talent. Matt. 25:25

  9. Not by our might but by the Spirit. Zech. 4:6

  10.  Your understanding opened. Luke  24:45

  11.  Be willing to be imbued with power.  Luke 24:49

  12.  Rejoice in souls won. Ps. 126:6
